MACADAM — About

Macadam is a retro vertical-scrolling arcade racing game set on a night highway. Top-down view, drive against traffic at full speed, dodge obstacles, collect bonuses. Outrun the police car before it catches you.

Controls

• Desktop: left/right arrows, or A/D
• Mobile: touch to steer (your finger's X position guides the car)
• Escape or P: pause

Obstacles

• 🚗 Cars, truck, biker — −1 life
• 🛑 Road signs — −1 life
• 🛢 Oil slick — −50 pts (no life lost)

Collectibles

• 🪙 Coin — +10 pts
• 💎 Diamond — +10 pts
• 🏆 Trophy — +50 pts
• ⚡ NOS canister — +100 pts + ×2 score for 8 s
• ⛽ Jerry can — +1 life (appears only when you've lost a life)
• 🪖 Helmet — 10 s immunity (police retreats)
